Jay Teri Ho Skand Mata।
Panchwan Naam Tumhara Aata॥

Meaning: Hail Skanda Mata. She is the fifth form of the nine forms of Navdurga who represent the motherly qualities of Mother Adishakti.

Sabke Man Ki Jaanan Hari।
Jag Janani Sabki Mahtari॥

Meaning: Skandmata knows what is in our mind i.e. she knows our every secret. She is the creator of this universe and is the goddess of all of us.

Teri Jyot Jalata Rahu Main।
Hardam Tumhe Dhyata Rahu Main॥

Meaning: O Skanda Mata!! May I always keep the lamp lit in your name and keep meditating on your name. In a way, I remain immersed in the devotion of Skanda Mata.

Kai Namo Se Tujhe Pukara।
Mujhe Ek Hai Tera Sahara॥

Meaning: Skanda Mata has many names and her forms are according to that. In every form she represents her different qualities. I have only Skanda Mata as my refuge and I have come under her protection.

Kahin Pahadon Par Hai Dera।
Kai Shaharon Mein Tera Basera॥

Meaning: Skandamata in some of her forms resides in the mountains, such as Vaishno Devi, Naina Devi, etc., while on the other hand, in many of her forms she also resides in cities, such as the Calcutta Kali Temple.

Har Mandir Mein Tere Najare।
Gun Gaye Tere Bhakt Pyare

Meaning: A different view of devotion is seen in every temple of Matarani. In the temple of Skandamata, all the devotees are found singing the praises of Matarani's name.

Bhakti Apni Mujhe Dila Do।
Shakti Meri Bigadi Bana Do॥

Meaning: O Skanda Mata !! Kindly bless me and give me your devotion i.e. make me your devotee. Also correct all my spoiled deeds.

Indra Aadi Devta Mil Saare।
Kare Pukar Tumhare Dware॥

Meaning: All the gods in heaven, including Indra, have come and stood at your door and are hailing your name.

Dusht Daitya Jab Chadh Kar Aaye।
Tum Hi Khanda Hath Uthaye॥

Meaning:Whenever there has been an increase of unrighteousness and a decline of righteousness, then you have taken up arms and killed the evil-doers, demons, monsters and devils.

Das Ko Sada Bachane Aayi।
Chaman Ki Aas Pujane Aayi॥

Meaning: You have always come forward to protect your servants, devotees and slaves. You have fulfilled the wish of Chaman, the creator of this Skandamata Aarti.
