Friday is dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi. On Friday, worship is done with rituals to please Goddess Lakshmi and get her blessings. Maa Lakshmi is the goddess of wealth. It is only by her grace that a person gets wealth and prosperity in life. According to mythological belief, people who are blessed by Goddess Lakshmi never have to face financial problems in life. According to astrologers, by doing special work on Friday, Goddess Lakshmi always keeps her blessings on you. If you want that there should always be happiness and prosperity in your house, then definitely do the measures related to Maa Lakshmi on Friday.
Friday Remedy
- Fasting on Fridays brings the immense blessings of Goddess Lakshmi. Goddess Lakshmi is worshipped in the morning and evening on this day.
- On this day, chant the mantras “Om Shun Shukraya Namah” or “Om Himkundamrinalabham Daityanaam Param Gurum Sarvashastrapravaktaaram Bhargavam Pranamayaham”.
- Goddess Lakshmi likes white color. If possible, donate white items. The purpose of donating white items is to make your life prosperous.
- Feeding flour to ants or cow on Friday increases luck.
- Lighting a lamp made of pure oil and worshipping the Tulsi plant on Fridays greatly pleases Goddess Lakshmi.
- During Friday puja, go to the temple of Goddess Lakshmi and offer her red clothes, red bindi, vermillion, red scarf and red bangles.
- Goddess Lakshmi resides in the conch and bell. Using these during worship at such a time will please Goddess Lakshmi.
- Reciting Maa Lakshmi Narayana on Friday pleases Maa Lakshmi. After reciting the mantra, do offer kheer to Lakshmi Narayana on that day.
This is how to start the fast
: On Friday, after taking a bath in the morning, women should purify themselves and wear clean clothes. Clean the temple in the morning and meditate on Goddess Lakshmi and take a pledge to keep the fast throughout the day. You can keep the fast by eating fruits throughout the day. If you want, you can eat something in the evening after the fast.
Do Puja in the evening like this
After fasting for the whole day on Friday, take a bath in the evening. To do Puja, sit on a seat facing east. After that, spread a red cloth on the stool and place the picture or idol of Vaibhav Lakshmi and keep Shriyantra behind or beside the picture.
Include these things in the Puja.
Place a handful of rice in front of the picture of Vaibhav Lakshmi and place a copper urn filled with water on it. Place gold or silver jewellery in a small bowl on top of the urn. While worshipping Vaibhav Lakshmi, keep red sandalwood, perfume, red cloth and red flowers.
For offering and prasad,
prepare rice pudding with cow's milk at home. If for some reason you are not able to prepare pudding, then you can also use white sweets or barfi in the offering to Goddess Lakshmi. Goddess Lakshmi also likes this. Chant Lakshmi Stotran after the puja. Or chant Vaibhav Lakshmi Mantra as per your capacity.
