Why is the Shradh of Panchami called Amarhit Panchami

In the month of Ashwin, the Shraddha of the Krishna Paksha Panchami is said to have special importance. It is also called Kunwar Panchami. On this day, the Shraddha is performed for those people who either died on the Panchami Tithi and got the time of Panchami Tithi. Apart from this, those people who remained unmarried. Those who were not married are also called unmarried fathers. For this reason, it is also called as Unmarried Panchami .

At this time, Pind Daan can be done any time except Rahukaal on Kunwara Panchami.
