Shri Guru Charan Saroj Raj, Nij Manu Mukur Sudhaari।
Varanau Raghubar Bimal Jasu, Jo Daayaku Phal Chaari॥
Buddhiheen Tanu Jaanike, Sumirau Pavan Kumar।
Bal Buddhi Vidya Dehu Mohi, Harahu Kalesh Bikaar॥

Meaning: The meaning of this couplet is to clean the mirror of your mind from the dust of the lotus like feet of Lord Shri Ram. Describe the faultless fame of Shri Ram, who will give you the four fruits of Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha. Considering yourself unintelligent, remember Hanuman, son of Pawan, a great devotee of Shri Ram. This will give you strength, intelligence and knowledge and every kind of pain, disease and mental sorrow will end.

Jai Hanuman gyaan gun saagar, Jai Kapis tihun lok ujaagar
Ram doot atulit bal dhama, Anjani putra Pavan sut nama॥

Meaning: Oh Lord Hanuman, the ocean of knowledge and virtues, victory be to you. Glory to him whose bravery is talked about in all the three worlds. The power of Lord Shri Ram's messenger Shri Hanuman ji is incomparable, you are the source of power. You are known as Mata Anjani and Pawan Putra.

Mahaabir bikram bajrangi, kumati nivaar sumati ke sangi।
Kanchan varn biraaj subesa, kaanan kundal kunchit kesa॥

Meaning: Shri Hanuman, you are a great hero and the strongest of all, your limbs are as strong as a thunderbolt. By worshiping you, bad intelligence and negative thinking are destroyed and good intelligence comes. Your complexion is as bright as Kanchan i.e. gold. The earrings in your ears and curly hair enhance your beauty.

Haath bajra aru dhvaja biraaje, kaanthe moonj janeu sajai।
Shankar suvan Kesari Nandan, tej prataap maha jag bandan॥

Meaning: The mace and flag in the hands and the sacred thread of Munj (Munj is a type of grass) on the shoulder further enhance the beauty of Shri Hanuman ji. You are a part of Shri Mahadev and the son of Shri Kesari, your glory and majesty are worshiped and praised in the entire world.

Vidyavaan guni ati chaatur, Ram kaaj karibe ko aatur।
Prabhu charitra sunibe ko rasiya, Ram Lakhan Sita man basiya॥

Meaning: Shri Ram devotee Hanuman, you are knowledgeable, virtuous and extremely intelligent. You are always ready to do the Lord's work. You like both singing and listening to the praises of Shri Ram Ji. Due to these qualities of yours, you reside in the hearts of Lord Ram, Mother Sita and Lakshman.

Sookshm roop dhari Siya hi dikhaava, bikat roop dhari Lank jaraava।
Bheem roop dhari asur sanhaare, Ramchandra ke kaaj sanvaare॥

Meaning: When Shri Hanuman ji reached Lanka, he went in front of Goddess Sita in a very small form. When he burnt Lanka, he assumed a huge form like Bhima. By killing the demons, Shri Hanuman made the work of his Lord Shri Ram easy.

Laay sajeevan Lakhana jiyaaye, Shri Raghubir harashi ur laaye।
Raghupati keenhi bahut badaai, tum mam priya Bharatahi sam bhaai॥

Meaning: When Lakshman ji got injured during the war in Lanka, Shri Hanuman ji, you saved his life by bringing Sanjeevani herb. Pleased with this, Shri Ram ji embraced you and called you as dear as brother Bharat.

Sahas badan tumharo jas gaavai, as kahi Shripati kanth lagaavai।
Sanakaadik Brahmaadi muneesa, Narad saarad sahit aheesaa॥

Meaning: Shri Ram hugged you and said that you are very strong and the praises of your courage are sung by Shri Sanak, Shri Sanatan, Shri Sanandan, Shri Brahma, Narad ji, Goddess Saraswati etc.

Jam Kubera digapal jahaan te, Kabi Kobid kahi sake kahaan te।
Tum upkaar Sugreevahi kiinha, Ram milaay raj pad deenha॥

Meaning: O Shri Hanuman, your glory is immense. Even Yama, Kuber, Digpal i.e. the protector of the ten directions etc. are not capable of praising your glory. Only poets and highly knowledgeable people can tell about your fame. You are so helpful that you reunited Sugriva ji with Lord Shri Ram and got him back his kingdom.

Tumharo mantra Vibhishan mana, Lankeshwar bhae sab jag jaana।
Jug sahastra jojan par bhanu, Leelyo taahi madhur phal jaanu॥

Meaning: The whole world knows that it was by following your guidance that Vibhishan attained the throne of Lanka. You have been radiant since childhood, like the sun that people cannot even look at directly. You reached the sun, which is thousands of miles away from the earth, and swallowed it, considering it a sweet fruit.

Prabhu mudrika meli mukh maahi, jaladhi laanghi gaye acharaj nahin।
Durgam kaaj jagat ke jete, sugam anugrah tumhare tete॥

Meaning: There is nothing surprising in this that you pressed the ring given by Shri Ram ji in your mouth and crossed the ocean spread for hundreds of miles to reach Mother Sita. If you are blessed then every difficult task in this world becomes easily possible.

Ram duare tum rakhvare, hot na aajna binu paisare।
Sab sukh lahai tumhari sarna, tum rakshak kahu ko darana॥

Meaning: Shri Hanuman ji, you are always deployed like a guard at the door of Lord Shri Ram, without your permission no one can reach Lord Shri Ram. Therefore the door to happiness is at your feet. You are the teacher of your devotees and hence your devotees have no need to fear anyone.

Aapan tej samharo aapai, teeno lok haank te kaampai।
Bhoot pishaach nikat nahi aavai, mahaabir jab naam sunaavai॥

Meaning: Shri Hanuman ji, only you can handle your power. O Bajrang Bali Mahavir Hanuman, all three worlds tremble at your challenge. In such a situation, why do your devotees need to be afraid of ghosts Just by chanting your name the ghosts and spirits are afraid to wander around.

Naasai roga hare sab peera, japata nirantara Hanumat beera।
Sankat tai Hanuman chhudaavai, man krama vachan dhyaan jo laavai॥

Meaning: By continuously chanting the name of Shri Hanuman ji, a person's diseases get destroyed. The name of Shri Hanuman ji is the remover of sorrow and pain. In times of crisis, whoever takes the name of Shri Hanuman ji through his mind, actions and words, all his problems go away.

Sab par Raam tapasvi raja, tinke kaaj sakal tum sajaa
Aur manorath jo koi laavai, soi amit jeevan phal paavai

Meaning: Shri Hanuman ji is a devotee of the great and ascetic king like Shri Ram Chandra and performs all his tasks with ease. Bajrang Bali does not delay in fulfilling the wishes of his devotees. Just remember them once with a true heart.

Charon jug paratap tumhara, hai parsiddh jagat ujiyara
Sadhu sant ke tum rakhware, asur nikandan Ram dulare

Meaning: Be it Satyayuga or Dwapar, Treta or Kaliyuga, you are present in every era. Your greatness and bravery are famous throughout the world. You are also the favorite of Ram, the destroyer of demons. Despite being so famous, you still protect the saints and weak people.

Asht siddhi nau nidhi ke data, asa bar deen Janaki mata
Ram rasayan tumhare paasa, sada raho Raghupati ke dasa

Meaning: By the blessing of Goddess Sita, Bajrang Bali has received eight accomplishments and nine treasures. By pleasing Shri Hanuman ji with his conduct, his devotees can also attain these priceless powers. Not only this, apart from being the servant of Shri Ram, Hanuman ji has got such a medicine named Ram, with which he can cure any disease.

Tumhare bhajan Ram ko paavai, janam janam ke dukh bisaraavai
Ant kaal Raghubar pur jaai, jahaan janam Haribhakt kahaai

Meaning: O Bajrang Bali, Lord Shri Ram can be attained just by chanting your name and doing bhajan. All sorrows and sins are eliminated just by remembering you. The one who takes refuge in you in his last moments goes to the abode of Lord Shri Ram i.e. Vaikuntha after death and is called a Hari devotee. Therefore the door to all happiness opens only by chanting your name.

Aur devata chitt na dharai, Hanumat sei sarv sukh karai
Sankat katai mitai sab peera, jo sumirai Hanumat balbira

Meaning: Hey Bajrang Bali Hanuman, if just chanting your name and remembering you can dispel all sorrows and attain all happiness, then what's the need to chant the name of any other deity? O mighty Hanuman, you are so great that by chanting your name alone, all troubles of your devotees are removed.

Jai Jai Jai Hanuman Gosai, kripa karahu guru dev ki naai
Jo sat baar paath kar koi, chhootahi bandi maha sukh hoi

Meaning: Shri Hanuman, you are the protector of your devotees, may you be victorious forever. Like a guru, you have showered me with knowledge. Through your grace, all my troubles will be dispelled. If someone recites this hymn 100 times, they will attain great happiness and liberation.

Jo yah padhe Hanuman Chalisa, hoye siddh saakhi Gaurisa
Tulsidas sada Hari chera, kijai nath hriday mah dera

Meaning: This verse signifies that whoever recites the Hanuman Chalisa will have all their desires fulfilled. Not only that, because Shri Hanuman ji is a part of Lord Mahadev, those who recite the Hanuman Chalisa will also attain blessings similar to Lord Shiva's and be liberated from the cycle of birth and death. Tulsidas ji says, “I am a devotee of Lord Shri Ram, Bajrang Bali. May you also come and reside in my heart

Pavan tanay sankat haran, mangal moorti roop
Ram Lakhan Sita sahit, hriday basahu sur bhoop

Meaning: O Hanuman, the remover of obstacles, may you dwell in my heart along with Shri Ram, Mother Sita, and Shri Lakshman.
