॥ Narad Puran Varnit Shri Sankat Nashan Ganesh Stotra ॥

 Pranamya Shirasaa Devam Gauriputram Vinayakam |
Bhaktaavaasam Smarennityamaayuhkaamaarthasiddhaye ॥1॥

Meaning: [Narada said] Bowing down and saluting Lord Ganesha, the son of Parvati , one should daily remember that devotee's abode for the attainment of one's longevity, desires and wealth. ॥1॥

Prathamam Vakratundam Cha Ekadantam Dvitiyakam |
Tritiyam Krishnapingaksham Gajavaktram Chaturthakam ॥2॥

Lambodaram Panchamam Cha Shashtham Vikatameva Cha |
Saptamam Vighnarajam Cha Dhoomravarnam Tathashtamam ॥3॥

Navamam Bhalachandram Cha Dashamam Tu Vinayakam |
Ekadasham Ganapatim Dwadasham Tu Gajananam ॥4॥

Dwadashaitani Namani Trisandhyam Yah Pathennarah |
Na Cha Vighnabhayam Tasya Sarvasiddhikaram Prabho ॥5॥

Meaning: First Vakratunda (one with crooked trunk), second Ekadanta (one with one tooth), third Krishnapindaksh (one with black and brown eyes), fourth Gajavaktra (one with elephant like face), fifth Lambodar (one with big belly), sixth Vikat (fierce), seventh Vighnarajendra (king of kings who rule over obstacles), eighth Dhumravarna (one with grey complexion), ninth Bhaalchandra (one with moon on his forehead), tenth Vinayak, eleventh Ganapati and twelfth Gajanan

– O Lord! The person who recites these twelve names in all three evenings (morning, noon and evening), he does not have to fear any kind of obstacle. This type of remembrance gives all the siddhis. ॥2 – 5॥

Vidyaarthi Labhate Vidyaam Dhanaarthi Labhate Dhanam |
Putraarthi Labhate Putraan Mokshaarthi Labhate Gatim ॥6॥

Meaning: By this, one who desires knowledge, gets knowledge, one who desires wealth, gets wealth, one who desires a son, gets a son and one who seeks salvation, gets salvation. ॥6॥

Japet Ganapatistotram Shadbhirmaasaih Phalam Labhet |
Sanvatsarena Siddhim Cha Labhate Natra Sanshayah ॥7॥

Meaning: One who chants this Ganapati Stotra gets the desired results in six months and attains complete success in one year. There is no doubt about this. ॥7॥

Ashtabhyo Brahmanebhyashcha Likhitva Yah Samarpayet |
Tasya Vidya Bhavetsarva Ganeshay Prasadatah ॥8॥

Meaning : The person who writes this and dedicates it to eight Brahmins, gets all kinds of knowledge by the grace of Lord Ganesha. ॥8॥

Meaning: [The Gods said] O Supreme Being! Salutations to you, salutations to you. You are the cause of all, salutations to you, salutations to you. You are the doer of all, salutations to you. You reside in all the senses, salutations to you. ॥1॥

Namo Namo Bhootakrite Suresh |
Namo Namah Sarvadhiyan Prabodha
Namo Namo Vishvalayodbhavaya ॥2॥

Meaning: You are the source of all living beings, salutations to you, salutations. O Suresh! You are the creator and destroyer of the universe, salutations to you, salutations to you. You are the source of enlightenment for all intellects, you are the creator and destroyer of the world, salutations to you, salutations to you. ॥2॥

Namo Namo Vedavidamadrysha

Meaning: O Akhilesh! You are the protector of the universe, you are the cause of all causes, salutations to you, salutations to you. You are invisible even to the knowers of Vedas, salutations to you, salutations to you. You are the one who gives blessings to everyone, salutations to you , salutations to you.॥3॥

Namo Namo Vighnanivaranaya |
Namo Namo'bhaktamanorathaghne
Namo Namo Bhaktamanorathajna ॥4॥

Meaning: You are beyond the thoughts of speech – Your form cannot be described in words, salutations to you, salutations to you. You remove all obstacles, salutations to you, salutations to you. You destroy the desires of the non-devotee, salutations to you, salutations to you. You know the desires of the devotees, salutations to you, salutations to you.॥4॥

Namo Namo Vishvavidhayaksha |
Namo Namo Daityavinashheto
Namo Namah Sankatanashakaya ॥5॥

Meaning: You are the master of the desires of the devotees, you are the one who fulfils their desires, salutations to you, salutations. You are skilled in creating the world, salutations to you, salutations. You are the reason for the destruction of demons, salutations to you, salutations. You are the destroyer of troubles, salutations to you, salutations. ॥5॥

Namo Namo Gyanamayaya Te'stu |
Namo Namo'gyanavinashanaya
Namo Namo Bhaktavibhutidaya ॥6॥

Meaning: You are the best of those who show compassion, salutations to you, salutations. Your form is full of knowledge, salutations to you, salutations. You are the destroyer of ignorance, salutations to you, salutations. You bestow prosperity on your devotees, salutations to you, salutations. ॥6॥

Namo Namaste Pravibhaktamurte ॥7॥

Meaning: You are the destroyer of the wealth of the non-devotees, salutations to you, salutations. You are the liberator of the devotees, salutations to you, salutations. You are the one who binds the non-devotees, salutations to you, salutations. You are spread in different forms, salutations to you, salutations. ॥7॥

Meaning: You are the one who imparts the knowledge of the truth, salutations to you, salutations. You are the best among the knowers of the truth, salutations to you, salutations. You are the witness of all the actions, salutations to you, salutations. You are the master of virtues, salutations to you, salutations. ॥8॥
