The ninth day of Navratri is dedicated to Maa Siddhidatri, by worshipping her a person gets all kinds of siddhis and gets the power to fight bad deeds. By worshipping Maa Siddhidatri all the wishes of a person are fulfilled.
Mother Siddhidatri sits on a lotus seat and has lotus, conch, mace and Sudarshan Chakra in her hands which shows us the path of good deeds and leave bad conduct. By worshipping the mother on this day, devotees get fame, power and wealth.
The ninth form of Maa Siddhidatri increases our auspicious elements and makes us feel divinity. Praising the mother fills our soul with divine purity and inspires us to do good deeds. The power of the mother infuses such power within us that we are successful in controlling our desires and lust and feel satisfaction in life.
The radiant form of the mother awakens our dormant mental powers and gives us the power and ability to control ourselves. On this day, worshiping the Siddhidatri form of Maa Durga eradicates our uncontrolled ambitions, discontent, laziness, jealousy, fault-finding, revenge, etc. evils and weaknesses and develops virtues.
It is only because of Mother's blessings that we get continuous activity within us, due to which we move ahead with ease even on the most difficult paths. The name of the nine powers of Maa Durga is Siddhidatri. She is the Goddess who bestows the eight Siddhis. According to Devi Puran, Lord Shiva had received all the powers by worshipping this Shakti Swaroopa Devi, due to whose effect half of Shiva's body became that of a woman. This form of Shiva became famous as Ardhanarishwar. Maa Siddhidatri is lion-riding, four-armed and is always praised. For worshipping Goddess Siddhidatri, Navahan Prasad, food containing nine tastes, and nine types of fruits and flowers etc. are offered.
In this way, devotees who worship Maa Siddhidatri on the ninth day of Navratri get Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha. Siddhidatri is also said to be a form of Goddess Saraswati who imparts knowledge to devotees wearing white clothes.
By surrendering at the feet of the mother, we should worship her with discipline and discipline. Remembering, meditating and worshipping this goddess makes us realize the futility of this world and leads us to the Amrita Pad.
It is told in the Hindu Puranas that Goddess Siddhidatri has four hands in which she holds a conch, a mace, a lotus flower and a chakra. She sits on a lotus . She has a garland of white flowers around her neck and a turban on her forehead. Her vehicle is a lion. The powers and glories of the Goddess have been described in the Devi Purana and Brahmavaivarta Purana.
