Shri Hanuman Stavan Stotra

प्रनवउं पवनकुमार खल बन पावक ज्ञानघन।
जासु हृदय आगार बसहिं राम सर चाप धर॥

Meaning: I bow to the son of the Wind God — Hanuman, who burns the wicked like fire, dispels the darkness of ignorance, and within whose heart resides Lord Rama holding his divine bow and arrows.

अतुलितबलधामं हेमशैलाभदेहं।
दनुजवनकृशानुं ज्ञानिनामग्रगण्यम्॥
सकलगुणनिधानं वानराणामधीशं।
रघुपतिप्रियभक्तं वातजातं नमामि॥

Meaning: I salute the mighty son of the Wind, the abode of immeasurable strength, whose body shines like a golden mountain, who is the fire to the forest of demons, foremost among the wise, and the most beloved devotee of Lord Rama.

गोष्पदीकृतवारीशं मशकीकृतराक्षसम्।
रामायणमहामालारत्नं वन्देऽनिलात्मजम्॥

Meaning: I bow to Lord Hanuman, who made the vast ocean appear as small as a cow’s hoofprint, who crushed the mighty demons as if they were mere insects, and who shines as a precious gem among the pearls of the great epic Ramayana.

अञ्जनानन्दनं वीरं जानकीशोकनाशनम्।
कपीशमक्षहन्तारं वन्दे लङ्काभयङ्करम्॥

Meaning:
I bow to the valiant son of Anjana, the destroyer of Mother Sita’s sorrow, the lord of the vanaras (monkeys), and the mighty conqueror who struck fear in the hearts of Lanka’s demons.

उलंघ्यसिन्धों: सलिलं सलीलं य: शोकवह्नींजनकात्मजाया:।
आदाय तेनैव ददाह लङ्कां नमामि तं प्राञ्जलिराञ्जनेयम्॥

Meaning:
With folded hands, I bow to the son of Anjana who effortlessly leaped across the ocean, removed Mother Sita’s grief, and set Lanka ablaze in his divine mission.

मनोजवं मारुततुल्यवेगं जितेन्द्रियं बुद्धिमतां वरिष्ठम्।
वातात्मजं वानरयूथमुख्यं श्रीरामदूतं शरणं प्रपद्ये॥

Meaning:
I take refuge at the feet of Lord Hanuman, the messenger of Lord Rama — swift as the mind and wind, master of his senses, supreme among the wise, and the leader of the vanara army.

आञ्जनेयमतिपाटलाननं काञ्चनाद्रिकमनीय विग्रहम्।
पारिजाततरूमूल वासिनं भावयामि पवमाननंदनम्॥

Meaning:
I meditate upon Lord Hanuman, the son of the Wind God, whose face glows like a red lotus, whose body gleams like a golden mountain, who resides under the celestial Parijata tree, and who fulfills all wishes of his devotees.

यत्र यत्र रघुनाथकीर्तनं तत्र तत्र कृत मस्तकाञ्जिंलम।
वाष्पवारिपरिपूर्णलोचनं मारुतिं राक्षसान्तकाम्॥

Meaning:
I bow to Lord Hanuman, who wherever the praises of Lord Rama are sung, humbly bows his head in devotion, his eyes filled with tears of love, and who is the mighty destroyer of demons.
