Shri Ganapati Pad Naay Sir, Dhari Hiy Sharada Dhyan.
(I bow my head to Lord Ganapati, focusing my heart on the divine Mother Saraswati.)

Santoshi Maa Ki Karu, Kirti Sakal Bakhan॥
(I sing the glory of Mother Santoshi.)

Jai Santoshi Maa Jag Janani, Khal Mati Dusht Daitty Dal Hanni.
(Hail Santoshi Maa, the mother of the world, who destroys the evil and wicked.)

Ganapati Dev Tumhare Tata, Riddhi Siddhi Kahlavahan Mata॥
(Lord Ganapati is your father, and you are known as the goddess of prosperity and accomplishments.)

Mata Pita Ki Rahau Dulari, Kirti Kehi Vidhi Kahun Tumhari.
(You are the beloved child of your parents; how can I describe your glory?)

Krit Mukut Sir Anupam Bhari, Kanan Kundal Ko Chhavi Nyari॥
(You wear a unique crown on your head, and your ear ornaments are exquisite.)

Sohat Ang Chhata Chhavi Pyari, Sundar Cheer Sunhari Dhari.
(Your form is beautiful, adorned in a lovely golden sari.)

Aap Chaturbhuj Sughar Vishal, Dharn Karahu Gaye Van Mala॥
(You are a large, beautiful goddess with four arms, wearing a garland of forest flowers.)

Nikat Hai Gau Amit Dulari, Karhu Mayur Aap Aswari.
(You are accompanied by a beloved cow, and you ride a peacock.)

Janat Sabhi Aap Prabhutai, Sur Nar Muni Sab Karhi Badayi॥
(All beings know of your greatness; gods, men, and sages sing your praises.)

Tumhare Darsh Kart Kshan Mai, Dukh Daridra Sab Jay Nasai.
(Seeing you, Mother, all sorrows and poverty disappear.)

Veda Puran Rahe Yash Gai, Karhu Bhakta Ki Aap Sahai॥
(Your glory is sung in the Vedas and Puranas; please help your devotees.)

Brahma Sang Saraswati Kahai, Lakshmi Roop Vishnu Sang Aai.
(You are accompanied by Brahma and Saraswati; Lakshmi comes with Vishnu.)

Shiv Sang Girija Roop Viraji, Mahima Teenon Lok Mein Ghaji॥
(You reside in the form of Goddess Parvati alongside Shiva; your glory is renowned in all three worlds.)

Shakti Roop Pragati Jan Jani, Rudra Roop Bhai Mata Bhavani.
(You manifest as the force of creation, becoming the fierce goddess Bhavani.)

Dushtdalan Hit Pragati Kali, Jagmag Jyoti Prachand Nirali॥
(To destroy evil, you appear as Kali, a radiant and fierce light.)

Chand Mundi Mahishasur Mare, Shumbh Nishumbh Asur Hani Dare.
(You kill Chanda and Munda, as well as Mahishasura, Shumbha, and Nishumbha.)

Mahima Veda Puranan Barani, Nij Bhaktan Ke Sankat Harani ॥
(Your glory is sung in the Vedas and Puranas; you remove the troubles of your devotees.)

Roop Sharada Hans Mohini, Nirankar Sakar Dahini.
(You manifest as Sharada and Mohini; you take on a form from the formless.)

Pragatayi Chahu Dish Nij Maya, Kan Kan Mein Hai Tej Samaya॥
(You manifest in all directions, and your brilliance pervades every particle.)


Prithvi Surya Chandra Aru Tare, Tav Ingit Kram Baddh Hai Sare.
(The Earth, Sun, Moon, and Stars are all bound by your commands.)

Palon Poshan Tumhi Karta, Kshan Bhangur Mein Pran Harta॥
(You alone nurture and sustain all life; you give and take life in an instant.)

Brahma Vishnu Tumhein Nit Dhyaavain, Shesh Mahesh Sada Man Lave.
(Lord Brahma and Vishnu always meditate on you; Shiva remains absorbed in thought of you.)

Manokamna Poorn Karni, Paap Kaatni Bhav Bhay Tarni॥
(You fulfill desires and remove sins, helping to cross the fears of life.)

Chitt Lagay Tumhe Jo Dhyat, So Nar Sukha Sampatti Hai Pata.
(Whoever meditates on you finds joy and prosperity.)

Bandhya Nari Tumhin Jo Dhyavain, Putra Pushp Lata Sam Wah Pavai॥
(Women who meditate on you are blessed with children, just as flowers blossom.)

Pati Viyogi Ati Vyakulnari, Tum Viyog Ati Vyakulyaari.
(Wives separated from their husbands are consoled by you, O Mother.)

Kanya Jo Koi Tumko Dhyavay, Apna Man Vanchhit Var Pavai॥
(Any maiden who meditates on you attains the desired husband.)

Shilvān Gunvān Ho Maiya, Apne Jan Ki Nau Khuwaya.
(O Mother, those with virtues and character will steer their boats to safety.)

Vidhi Purvak Vrat Jo Koi Karahi, Tahi Amit Sukha Sampatti Bharahi॥
(Those who observe your fast according to tradition will receive immense happiness and wealth.)

Gud Aur Chana Bhog Tohi Bhavai, Seva Karai So Anand Pavai.
(You are pleased with offerings of jaggery and chickpeas; those who serve you attain bliss.)

Shraddha Yukt Dhyan Jo Dhare, So Nar Nischay Bhav Se Tarhe.
(Those who focus on you with devotion will surely be freed from the cycle of birth and death.)

Udyapan Jo Karhi Tumhar, Tako Sahaj Karhu Nistara.
(Those who perform your Udyapan will be effortlessly rescued.)

Naari Suhagan Vrat Jo Kartī, Sukha Sampatti So Godi Bharti.
(Women who observe the Suhag Vrat are blessed with happiness and wealth.)

Jo Sumirat Jaisi Man Bhava, So Nar Vaison Hi Phal Pava.
(As one remembers you, they receive rewards according to their faith.)

Saat Shukra Jo Vrat Man Dhare, Taki Poorn Manorath Sare.
(Those who observe the fast on Shukla Paksha will have all their wishes fulfilled.)

Seva Karahi Bhakti Yukt Joi, Tako Door Daridra Dukh Hoi.
(Those who serve you with devotion will have their poverty and sorrows banished.)

Jo Jan Sharan Mata Teri Aavai, Taki Kshan Mein Kaj Banavai.
(Whoever comes to your refuge will have all their tasks accomplished instantly.)

Jai Jai Jai Ambe Kalyani, Kripa Karau Mori Maharani.
(Hail, hail, hail, Mother Ambe Kalyani! Please grant me your grace, O Queen.)

Jo Koi Padhe Maat Chaalisa, Taape Karhi Kripa Jagdeesha॥
(Whoever reads this Chalisa will surely receive your grace, O Lord of the Universe.)

Nit Prati Paath Karai Ik Baar, So Nar Rahe Tumhara Pyara.
(Whoever recites this daily will remain dear to you.)

Naam Let Baadha Sab Bhage, Rog Dvesh Kabhoon Na Laage॥
(By chanting your name, all obstacles will be removed, and illness and enmity will never come.)

Poorn Manorath Ho Sakal, Mata Haru Bhav Traas॥
(May I always dwell at your feet, O Santoshi Maa; may all my wishes be fulfilled, and may you remove all fears.)
