Vande Vanchhitalabhaya Chandrardhakrit Shekharam।
Vrisharudhaam Shuladharaam Shailputrim Yashasvinim॥
Meaning: To obtain the desired benefits, I worship Mother Shailputri, who wears the half-moon on her head, rides on a Vrishabha (bull), removes the pains of this world and is famous.
Poornendu Nibhaam Gauri Muladhar Sthitam Pratham Durga Trinetrām।
Patambar Paridhanam Ratnakirita Nalamkar Bhushita॥
Meaning: The form of Maa Shailputri is as blissful as the full moon. She is Maa Gauri and is the foundation of this universe. She is the first Durga among Navdurga who has three eyes. Matarani wears yellow clothes and wears a crown studded with gems on her head. She has adorned herself with many types of ornaments.
Prafulla Vandana Pallavadharaam Katankapolam Tug Kucham।
Kamaniyam Lavanyam Snemukhi Kshinamadhyam Nitambanim॥
Meaning: We all worship Shailputri Mata with a joyful mind. Shailputri Mata creates this earth and her form is very beautiful and most delightful. Mother Shailputri is desirable, full of beauty, affectionate, with a slim waist and buttocks.

Pratham Durga Tvamhi Bhavsagar: Tarinim।
Dhan Aishwarya Dayini Shailputri Pranamabhyam॥
Meaning: Shailputri is the first form of Maa Navdurga who helps us cross the ocean of existence. She is the one who gives us wealth and prosperity and saves us. I salute Shailputri Mata.
Trilojanani Tvamhi Paramanand Pradiyamaan।
Saubhagyarogya Dayini Shailputri Pranamabhyaham॥
Meaning: Maa Shailputri is the mother of the three worlds and it is through her that we all experience happiness. We salute Maa Shailputri who gives good fortune to all women.
Characharesvari Tvamhi Mahamoh: Vinashin।
Mukti Bhukti Dayinim Shailputri Pranamamyaham॥
Meaning: Shailputri Maa is the goddess of all the creatures of this world. She is the one who destroys attachment and illusion. We salute Shailputri Maa who gives salvation and devotion to all of us.
