Arun Adhar Janu Bimb Phal, Nayan Kamal Abhiram॥

Meaning: The flute in the hands of Lord Shri Krishna enhances his beauty, his body is dark in colour which appears like a blue lotus. His beautiful lips are like the Bimb fruit and his eyes are captivating to anyone.

Purna Indra Arvind Mukh, Pitambar Shubh Saaj।
Jay Man Mohan Madan Chhavi, Krishna Chandra Maharaj॥

Meaning: His face is blooming like a lotus flower and he is wearing yellow clothes on his body. O Lord Krishna whose beautiful form captivates our mind, all hail Him.

Puni Nak Par Prabhu Girivar Dharon, Aao Deenan Kasht Nivaro॥

Meaning: Shri Krishna dances on Kaliya Nag and grazes Mother Cow. O Lord Shri Krishna, please lift the mountain of sorrows of your devotees once again on your nails and remove the sufferings of everyone.

Surpati Jab Braj Chadyo Risai, Moosar Dhaar Vari Varshai॥

Meaning: Madhuvan was burning in fire but as soon as it saw you, it cooled down. Indra Dev got angry for not worshipping him and rained heavily in the Braj region but you protected everyone by holding Govardhan mountain on one of your fingers.

Meaning: The evil Kansa had created terror in the city of Mathura and he had demanded crores of lotus flowers. Then you had destroyed his ego by giving him your footprints.

Ketik Maha Asur Sanhaariyo, Kansahi Kes Pakadi Dai Marayo॥

Meaning: You performed Raasleela with all the gopis in the Braj region and fulfilled everyone's wishes. You have destroyed many demons and killed a demon like Kansa by grabbing his hair.

Maat-pita ki bandi chhudaai, Ugrasen kahan raj dilaai।
Mahi se mritak chahon sut layo, matu Devaki shok mitaayo।

Meaning: After killing Kansa, you freed your parents from imprisonment and made Ugrasen the king. You relieved mother Devaki of her sorrows by bringing back her six dead sons.

Bhaumasur mur daitya sanhaari, laye shat dash sahas kumari।
De bheemahi trin chir sahaara, Jarasindh rakshas kahan mara॥

Meaning: You killed the demons named Bhaumasur and Mur and freed sixteen thousand girls from their clutches. On your advice, the mighty Bhima killed the demon Jarasindhu and tore his body into pieces.

Asur Bakasur Aadik Marayo, Bhaktan Ke Tab Kasht Nivariyo।
Deen Sudama Ke Dukh Taaryo, Tandul Teen Mooth Mukh Daaryo॥

Meaning: You relieved the sufferings of your devotees by killing the demon Bakasur. You ended the sufferings of your friend Sudama and ate the raw rice given by him with great pleasure.

Prem Ke Saag Vidur Ghar Maange, Duryodhan Ke Meva Tyaage।
Lakhi Prem Ki Mahima Bhaari, Aise Shyam Deen Hitkaari॥

Meaning: You refused Duryodhan's invitation to Hastinapur and went to your devotee Vidur's house. You saved your devotee's honour by giving more importance to love than wealth. Shri Krishna does good to all the poor brothers.

Marath Ke Paarth Rath Haanke, Liya Chakra Kar Nahin Bal Thaanke।
Nij Geeta Ke Gyaan Sunaye, Bhaktan Hriday Sudha Varshaaye॥

Meaning: You played the role of Arjuna's charioteer in the fierce battle of Mahabharata and killed many great warriors with your chakra. You imparted the knowledge of Gita to Arjuna on the battlefield and showered nectar in the hearts of devotees.

Meaning: Your devotee Meera was so intoxicated in your love that she drank poison thinking it to be sweet water. Rana made many attempts to kill Meera but failed. The snakes sent by him turned into flower garlands and you came alive even in the Shaligram stone.

Tab Shat Ninda Kari Tatkaala, Jeevan Mukt Bhayo Shishupala॥

Meaning: You showed the power of your Maya and cleared everyone's doubts. When you forgave 100 crimes of Shishupal, then when he committed another crime, you severed his head from his body and freed him from his life.

Jabahi Draupadi Ter Lagaai, Deenanath Laaj Ab Jaai।
Turat Hi Vasan Bane Nandalala, Badhe Chir Bhaye Ari Mukh Kaala॥

Meaning: When Draupadi was being disrobed in the court, she requested you to save her honour. Without wasting time, you protected Draupadi's honour. You yourself became Draupadi's clothes and that cloth kept on increasing and within no time, a mountain of sarees was formed in the court and the enemies were disgraced.

Kholo Pat Ab Darshan Dijai, Bolo Krishna Kanhaiya Ki Jai॥

Meaning: If my intellect has gone astray, then bring it back on the right path and forgive all our sins. O Lord! Open your doors and give us darshan. All of you should say Jai Krishna Kanhaiya.
