Meaning: The creator of this Ram Raksha Stotra Mantra is sage Budh Kaushik, Sita and Ramchandra are deities, Anushtup is the verse, Sita is Shakti, Hanuman ji is the key and it is used in the chanting of Ram Raksha Stotra for the happiness of Shri Ramchandra ji.

॥  Ath Dhyanam ॥

Dhyaayedajaanubaa Hum Dhrutasharadhanusham Baddadpad Maasanatham ।
Peetam Vasovasanam Navakamaladalas Padhinetram Prasannam ॥
Vaamankaarudhasita Mukha Kamalamilallochanam Neeradabham ।
Nanalankara Deeptam Dadhatamurujataamandanam Ramachandram ॥
Meaning: One who is holding bow and arrow, is seated in lotus pose and is wearing yellow clothes, whose illuminated eyes compete with the new lotus petals (i.e. who is more beautiful than the lotus petals), who is of a happy mind, whose I meditate on Sita seated on the left side, whose face is touched by the lotus and whose complexion is dark like the clouds; on that Sri Rama with long arms and matted hair, adorned with various ornaments.

Shri Ram Raksha Stotra:

Charitam Raghunathasya Shatakotipravistaram।
Ekaikam Aksharam Punsaam Mahapatakanashanam ॥1॥
Meaning: The character of Shri Raghunathji is vast. Its each and every letter destroys all great sins.

Dhyatva Neelotpalashyamam Ramam Rajivalochanam।
Janakeelakshmanopetam Jatamukutamanditam ॥2॥
Meaning: Remembering Lord Shri Ram, who is dark colored like a blue lotus, has lotus eyes, is adorned with a crown of matted hair and is accompanied by Janaki and Lakshmana,

Sasitundhanurbaanapaanim Naktam Charantakam।
Swalilaya Jagannatumavirbhutamajam Vibhum ॥3॥
Meaning: Remembering Shri Ram who is unborn (who has not been born, i.e. who has appeared) and omnipresent, who has taken birth with sword, quiver, bow and arrow in his hands to kill the demons and to protect the world through his divine acts,

Ramraksham Pathetprajnah Papaghneem Sarvakamadam।
Shiro Me Raghavah Patu Bhalam Dasharathatmajah ॥4॥
Meaning: I recite the Ram Raksha Stotra which fulfills all desires and destroys all sins. May Raghava protect my head and may the son of Dasharatha protect my forehead.

Kausalyeyo Drishau Patu Vishwamitra Priyah Shrutih।
Ghrianam Patu Makhatrata Mukham Saumitrivatsalah ॥5॥
Meaning: May Kausalya's son protect my eyes, Vishwamitra's beloved protect my ears, Yajna Rakshak protect my nose and Sumitra's beloved protect my mouth.

Jihvam Vidyanidhih Patu Kantham Bharatavanditah।
Skandhau Divyayudhah Patu Bhujau Bhagneshakarmukah ॥6॥
Meaning: Maythe Almighty protect my tongue, may the one worshipped by Bharat protect my throat, may the divine weapons protect my shoulders and may Lord Shri Ram, who broke the bow of Mahadev, protect my arms.

Karau Sitapatih Patu Hridayam Jamadagnajit।
Madhyam Patu Kharadhwamsi Nabhim Jambavadashrayah ॥7॥
Meaning: May Lord Rama, the husband of Sita, protect my hands; may the conqueror of sage Jamdagni's son (Parashuram) protect my heart; may the slayer of Khar (demon) protect my middle part and may the protector of Jambavan protect my navel.

Sugriveshah Kati Patu Sakthini Hanumatprabhuh।
Uru Raghuttamah Patu Rakshahkulavinashakrit ॥8॥
Meaning: May Lord Sugreeva, thelord of my waist, Hanuman, the lord of bones and Shri Ram, the best of all Raghus and the destroyer of the demon clan, protect my thighs .

Januni Setukritpatu Janghe Dashmukhantakah।
Padau Vibhishanasridhah Patu Ramoakhilam Vapuh ॥9॥
Meaning: May Lord Rama protect my knees who built the bridge, my forearms who killed Ravana, my feet who gave prosperity to Vibhishan and my entire body.

Etam Ramabalopetam Raksham Yah Sukritii Pathet।
Sa Chirayu: Sukhi Putri Vijayi Vinayi Bhavet ॥10॥
Meaning: The devotee who does auspicious work and recites this hymn with devotion and reverence in association with the power of Ram, becomes long-lived, happy, blessed with sons, victorious and humble.

Patalabhootavyom Charinashchhadmacharinah।
Na Drishtumapi Shaktaste Rakshitam Ramanamabhih ॥11॥
Meaning: The creatures who roam in the underworld, on earth and in the sky or who roam around in disguise are unable to even see the human being who is protected by the name of Rama.

Rameti Ramabhadreti Ramachandreti Va Smaran.।
Naro Na Lipyate Papai Bhuktim Muktim Cha Vindati ॥12॥
Meaning: A devotee of Lord Rama who remembers the names of Rama, Rambhadra and Ramchandra etc. is not involved in sins, not only this, he certainly attains both devotion and salvation.

Jagajjetraikamantre Na Ramanamnabhirakshitam।
Yah Kanthe Dharayetastasy Karasthah Sarvasiddhayah ॥13॥
Meaning: He who keeps this mantra in his throat, which conquers the world and is protected by the name of Rama, attains all kinds of supernatural powers.

Vajrapanjarnamendham Yo Ramakavacham Smaret.
Avyahatajnah Sarvatra Labhate Jayamangalam ॥14॥
Meaning: The person who remembers this Rama Kavach called Vajrapanjar, his orders are never violated and he always achieves victory and prosperity.

Adishtavanyatha Swapne Ramrakshamimam Harah।
Tatha Likhitavan Pratah Prabuddho Budhakaushikah ॥15॥
Meaning: Upon receiving the order from Lord Shiva in a dream, sage Budhakaushik wrote this hymn upon waking up in the morning.

Aramah Kalpavrikshanam Viramah Sakalapadam।
Abhiramas Trilokanam Ramah Shrimansanah Prabhuh ॥16॥
Meaning: The one who gives rest like a garden of Kalpa trees, the one who removes all troubles (Virama means to stop, to stop/remove what? Sakalapadam = SakalAapaada = all troubles) and who is beautiful in all the three worlds (Abhiram + S + Trilokanam), that very Shriman Ram is our Lord.

Tarunau Roop Sampannau Sukumarau Mahabalau।
Pundarikavishalakshau Chira-Krishna-Jinambarau ॥17॥
 Meaning: Who is young, beautiful, tender, very powerful and has large eyes like the lotus (Pundarik), wears clothes like sages and the skin of a black deer.

Phalamulashinau Daantau Tapasau Brahmacharinau.।
Putrau Dasharathasyaitau Bhratarau Ramalakshmanau ॥18॥
Meaning: Those who eat fruits and tubers, who are self-controlled, ascetic and celibate, may those two brothers Rama and Lakshmana, sons of Dasharatha, protect us.

Sharanyau Sarvasatvanam Shresthau Sarvadhanushmataam.
Rakshakulanihantarau Trayetam No Raghuttamau ॥19॥
Meaning: May such a mighty Raghu, the best of all the heroes, the protector of all creatures, the best of all archers and capable of completely destroying the clans of demons, protect us.

Attasajjadhanusha Vishusprusha Vakshaya Shuganishingasanginau।
Rakshanaya Mama Ramalakshmana Vagrat Pathi Sadaiva Gachhataam ॥20॥
Meaning: Holding their bows with their arms drawn, touching the arrows, holding the quiver filled with inexhaustible arrows, Rama and Lakshmana should go before me to protect me.

Sannadhah Kavachi Khadgi Chapabanadharo Yuva.
Gachchhan Manoratho Asmakam Ramah Patu Salakshmanah ॥21॥
Meaning: May the youthful Lord Rama, ever alert, clad in armour, holding a sword and bow and arrow in his hands, go ahead along with Lakshmana and protect us.

Ramo Dasharathih Shuro Lakshmananucharo Bali.
Kakutstha Purushah Purnah Kausalyeyo Raghuttamah ॥22॥
Meaning:  Lord Shiva says that Shri Ram, Dasharathi, brave, Lakshmanachura, Bali, Kakutstha, man, complete, Kausalyeya, Raghutam,

Vedantavedyo Yajneshah Puranapurushottamah।
Janakivallabhah Shrimana Prameya Parakramah ॥23॥
 Meaning: Vedanta Veda, Yajnesh, Puran Purushottam, Janaki Vallabh, Shriman and Shri immeasurable prowess,

Ityetani Japennityam Madbhaktah Shraddhayanvitah.
Ashvamedhadikam Punnyam Samprapnoti Na Sanshayah ॥24॥
 Meaning: One who chants these names with devotion every day, definitely gets more benefits than the Ashwamedha Yagna, there is no doubt about it.

Ramam Durvadalashyama Padmaksham Pitavasasam.
Stuvanti Namabhirdivyair Na Te Samsarinau Narah ॥25॥
 Meaning: One who praises Lord Rama, who is dark in complexion like the grass, has lotus eyes and wears yellow clothes, with the above mentioned divine names, does not get caught in the cycle of the world.

Ramam Lakshmanapurvajam Raghurvaram Sitapatim Sundaram.
Kakutstham KarunarNavam Gunanidhim Viprapriyam Dharamikam.
Rajendram Satyasandham Dasharathanayam Shyamalam Shantamurtim.
Vande Lokabhiramam Raghukulatilakam Raghavam Ravanarim ॥26॥
Meaning: Raghuvar, elder brother of Lakshman, husband of Sita, descendant of King Kakutstha, ocean of compassion, treasure of virtues, beloved of Vipras (Brahmins), extremely religious (protector of Dharma), Rajarajeswara (King of Kings), truthful I worship Lord Ram, son of Dasharatha, dark complexioned, embodiment of peace, beautiful in all the worlds, the symbol of Raghukul, Raghav and enemy of Ravana.

Ramaya Ramabhadraya Ramachandraya Vedhase.
Raghunathaya Nathaya Sitayah Pataye Namah ॥27॥
Meaning: I worship Rama, Ramabhadra, Ramachandra, Vidhaat Swarup, Raghunath Prabhu and the husband of Sita ji.

Shri Rama Rama Raghunandana Rama Rama.
Shri Rama Rama Bharatagranja Rama Rama.
Shri Rama Rama Ranakarkasha Rama Rama.
Shri Rama Rama Sharanam Bhava Rama Rama ॥28॥
Meaning: O Raghunandan Shri Ram! O Bharat's elder brother Lord Ram! O brave, dignified man Shri Ram! Please give me shelter.

Shri Ramachandra Charanau Manasa Smarami.
Shri Ramachandra Charanau Vachasa Grinami.
Shri Ramachandra Charanau Shirasan Namami.
Shri Ramachandra Charanau Sharanam Prapadye ॥29॥
Meaning: I remember the feet of Shri Ramchandraji with concentrated mind and praise the feet of Shri Ram with words. I take refuge in the feet of Lord Ramachandra by saluting them with words and with full devotion.

Mata Ramo Matpita Ramachandrah.
Swami Ramo Matsakha Ramachandrah.
Sarvasvam Me Ramachandro Dayalu.
Nanyam Jane Naiva Jane Na Jane ॥30॥
Meaning: Rama is my mother, my father, my lord and my friend. Thus the merciful Rama is my everything. I do not know anyone else except him.

Dakshine Lakshmano Yasya Vame Tu Janakatmaja.
Purato Marutiryasya Tam Vande Raghunandanam ॥31॥
 Meaning: I worship that Raghunath ji, on whose right side is seated Lakshman ji, on whose left is Janaki ji and in front is Hanuman ji.

Lokabhiramam Ranarangadhiram Rajivanetram Raghuvamshanatham.
Karunyaroopam Karunakaram Tam Shri Ramachandram Sharanam Prapadye ॥32॥
Meaning: I am taking refuge in Shri Ram, the most beautiful in all the worlds, brave in the art of warfare, having eyes like the lotus, the leader of the Raghuvansh, the embodiment of compassion and the storehouse of compassion.

Manojavam Marutatulyavegam Jitendriyam Buddhimatam Varishtham.
Vatatmajam Vanarayuthamukhyam Shri Ramadutam Sharanam Prapadye ॥33॥
 Meaning: I take refuge in Shri Ram's messenger (Hanuman), who is as fast as the mind and as swift as the wind, who is the most self-controlled and the best among the intelligent, the son of Vayu, the leader of the monkey group.

Kujantam Ram Rameti Madhuram Madhuraksharam.
Aaruhya Kavita Shakham Vande Valmiki Kokilam ॥34॥
Meaning: I worship the cuckoo in the form of Valmiki, sitting on the branch of poetry, singing the sweet name of ‘Ram-Ram' with sweet syllables.

Apadamapahartaram Dataram Sarvasampadam.
Lokabhiramam Shri Ramam Bhuyo Bhuyo Namamyaham ॥35॥
Meaning: I bow again and again to Sri Rama, the most beautiful of all the worlds, who removes all calamities and bestows happiness and prosperity.

Bharjanam Bhavabeejanamarjanam Sukhasampadam.
Tarjanam Yamadutanam Ram Rameti Garjanam ॥36॥
Meaning: By chanting ‘Ram-Ram' all the troubles of man are eliminated. He attains all happiness, wealth and prosperity. The messengers of death are always afraid of the roar of Rama Rama.

Ramo Rajamani Sada Vijayate Ramam Ramesham Bhaje.
Ramenabhihata Nishacharachamu Ramaya Tasmai Namah.
Ramannasti Parayanam Parataram Ramasya Daso Smyaham.
Rame Chittalayah Sada Bhavatu Me Bho Ram Mamuddhara ॥37॥
Meaning: Shri Ram, the best among kings, always achieves victory. I worship Lord Shri Ram, the husband of Goddess Lakshmi. I salute Shri Ram, who destroyed the entire demon army. There is no other protector like Shri Ram. I am the slave of that loving and surrendered one. May I always remain absorbed in Shri Ram. Oh Lord Ram! Please save me (from this ocean of the world).

Ram Rameti Rameti Rame Rame Manorame.
Sahasranam Tattulyam Ramanam Varanane ॥38॥
Meaning:- (Lord Shiva says to Parvati) O Sumukhi (the one who is beautiful)! Ram's name is similar to ‘Vishnu Sahasranaam. I always praise Rama and take pleasure in the name of Rama.
