There is happiness and peace in the house as well as health benefits. For this reason, fasting on Saturdays is considered very auspicious.

• Sweets are offered to God in every service. Offering Gulab Jamun on Saturday is considered very auspicious. It is believed that this offering will calm the wrath of Shanidev. Therefore, eating Gulab Jamun on Saturday is considered auspicious.

Women should not do this mistake during Shani Puja?

If a woman observes a fast on Saturday, she should not touch any idol even unknowingly. According to the scriptures, this affects them with negative energy. Women should not anoint the Shani idol with oil. This rule applies only to men. It is beneficial for women to chant Shani Chalisa in the temple.
