Detailed Explanation:

In this verse, Sanjaya mentions some other prominent warriors from the Pandava army who were considered invincible in battle.

  • King of Kashi: A powerful and exceptional archer from the kingdom of Kashi.
  • Shikhandi: A warrior who played a significant role in the Mahabharata and became the reason for Bhishma’s fall in battle.
  • Dhrishtadyumna: Brother of Draupadi, born through a sacred fire ritual by King Drupada for the very purpose of killing Dronacharya.
  • Virata: The king of the Matsya kingdom who gave shelter to the Pandavas during their incognito exile.
  • Satyaki: A prominent Yadava warrior, a dear ally of Lord Krishna, and a great archer known to be undefeated in battle.

This verse highlights that the Pandava army did not rely solely on numbers, but was strengthened by capable, skilled, and experienced warriors who could play decisive roles in the war.
